Concordia & Clay Center Parades On Video!

While I was marching in Hays with the girlies, Rob was with the boys in Concordia and Clay Center on Sunday. Rob had much less luck keeping the boys from eating the parade candy than Bernice did with the girls out in Hays! They had a great time and they told me some nice lady came up to Paddy and Basil and had them  hold their shirts out while she filled it with even more candy(oh my!). Rob took them all out for milkshakes when it was all over, which I guess is mildly nutritious. Thank goodness, Mom was home in time to brush all their little teeth and put them to bed!

Here is my coolio video which marks the kickoff of my new video blogging. stay tuned for more…

Coffee house tour has begun…

Rob’s tour was featured in the Coby Free Press.. Rob has started his coffee house tours!  Let us know if you have a place you like to go for coffee , or in my case…  doughnuts,  and he will be there!

Hays Oktoberfest and Parade

Rob went back home to Hays to celebrate Oktoberfest. We loaded the girls and Anselm  in the car early Friday morning in order to get there in time for the bierocks and brats!  We rode  in Uncle Greg’s old Ford Ranchero with hand painted flames on the front! Thank you to Auntie Marilyn, “Auntie” Sue and  Mike for walking  in the parade with us! Bernice had the hardest job, which was keeping Francesca from eating  all the parade candy! Thanks Bernice!

Fair Fun and Ranch Rodeo

Had a blast a the fair last weekend. Here are some fun pics of it and a few from the Ranch Rodeo in Strong city!

Wrangler Fest and Kansas State Fair

I think the pictures speak for themselves. We decided to have an “open house”  on Labor Day since main street  in  Cottonwood Falls was bustling with activity.
( any excuse to rent a cotton candy machine , I always say!) The other pictures are of Rob and the boys at the State fair in Hutchinson. The kids and I will be going this weekend to eat even more cotton candy… stay tuned.
